So Hines Ward won Dancing with the Stars last night....whoopdie doo. Was it a 7th Lombardi trophy? Does everyone want to have a parade now? How smoking hot is his dancing partner? Thoughts after the jump...
I know this is going to be unpopular, but I could not care less about Hines Ward winning a dancing competition. What does that have to do with the Steelers? It was a smart move for Hines though because now he is building a brand name. Fat, middle-aged housewives are now in love with Hines Ward and that's how you build a brand.
But why did a thousand people show up at Stage AE to watch it live? Here's my breakdown:
50% - An excuse to drink
25% - Legitimately wanted to watch the show
10% - Hoping to hook up with a fat, middle-aged housewife
10% - Lonely people who wanted to be amongst others
5% - People with no television
Thankfully, this is over now so the 6pm newscasts don't lead with Hines a story. Why does breaking news have to be that Hines Ward was practicing the fox trot? Go away.
Once again though, look at Kym Johnson...my God. I'd like to polish her crystal ball trophies.
